Non-Fiction meets Fiction

"I gave her my heart, and she gave me a pen. And then she signed this copy of her book for me" - John Cusack as Lloyd Dobler in "Say Anything".
Though I do have a real picture of Lyle Lovett holding my son, this is an altered image. But it made me laugh out loud when my sister emailed it to me the other night, with the subject line, "Too much time on my hands." I am now spending time looking for celeb photos into which we can photoshop the cover.
ETA: The book was actually my gift to John on this, his 40th birthday. What world famous celebrity doesn't want a copy of my book on their birthday??

That's AWESOME! I can't wait to see the other celebs with your book!
I had a roommate in college who named her car Lloyd...
I love John Cusack. In that way that I hope Chris never finds out about. :)
That's great!! I was convinced it was a real picture.
I was like "Holy shit....John C. is holding her book!!"
Funny you should post that today, as it is John's 40th Birthday! Great photo!
The doctored photo made me love him even more - I believe he WOULD read your book. Really. Now put Kevin Kline in one, he actually has some experience with diabetes! Hee hee.
Where'd you get that picture of MY boyfriend, Kassie? Don't make me come there and beat you up.
:)
My favorite Cubs fan. :)
My favorite fellow Chicago-area-ite. :)
Yummy.
