Enough with the Diabetes Already

Recently, I had the opportunity to do a practice TV interview. I left the session with a DVD copy of the interview, along with pointers and tips on how to improve my presentation skills.

I was reviewing it last night, and Ryan came over to watch. He got quite a kick out of seeing Mommy 'on TV'.

After watching for less then 2 minutes, Ry turned to me and said,

"Mommy, when are you gonna be done with diabetes?"

Now, this was not the precocious pinings of a concerned child or sweet wishes for a cure for his mommy. It was more like, "When are you going to stop talking about this stuff?"

But what do y'all think about the timing of this little gem?
