They're BAAAACK

girl scouts

I only ordered 3 boxes from my favorite local girl scout, Kimber.

Her mom emailed me to say that Kimber noticed I was 'going light' this year.

Am I alone in thinking that one serving size of Thin mints is a sleeve?

thin mints and sammmmmmmmmmmmmoooooossssssaaasss... And whatever they call Tag-a-longs these days.

Girl Scout Cookies are pure crack.

And btw, 4 thin mints is only 19g of carbs ;-)

I need to make friends with (or kidnap) a Girl Scout. I didn't get any this year and it's probably too late. *sniffle*

Oh, Julia, it's NEVER too late. You'll see, they'll be selling them in front of the local supermarket as the weather gets more spring-ish...

But if 4 are 19 grams of carbs, a whole sleeve (of 20) is about 100 carbs... That's my entire day's allotment of carbs. Grrr....

Julia - try your local grocery store!

Nicole - aren't you on pump? There's no such thing as "daily allotment." :-)

I was a Girl Scout for 6 years, and three of those I had diabetes. My mother would only let me eat Trefoils because they had the least amount of sugar. Ugh. It got so boring after awhile. My favorites are tag-a-longs.

I'm hungry now.

The cookies were the only thing I missed after being kicked out of Girl Scouts.
