Some Big Splashy Family Pics
Ryan and I went to Philly this weekend for the 60th birthday of a family friend, while Jake and John entertained big wigs in the suite at the Richmond Race. Ryan and I had some time alone, without the distraction/competition of his big brother, and I must say it was really nice.
At the party, Ryan ran around for the better part of four hours with his cousin Nolan (1 year older) and my friend's kids, Nicholas (7) and Lauren (a mere 2 weeks older than Ryan). The best part: they didn't need us AT ALL. What a delight to hang out with adults while the kids were off playing. It makes me officially old, of course, but it was a very nice afternoon.

Soooo cute! I love seeing pictures from my Imaginary Internet Weirdo Friend (I have no idea if that was in the right order...).
You have such handsome kids.
And there's nothing wrong with enjoying a little adult time. Doesn't make you old. But too much "kid time" could sure make you tired. :)
