The D-World Gets Smaller Every Day
I received an email today from my cousin's cousin. This is not all that unusual, as we both receive emails from one of our cousins-in-common.
A few days later, C2's name appears in the inbox of another one of my email addresses (I am an email-aholic and have several addresses).
Unlike other recent emails from family, this was actually an email about diabetes. Her dad passed away many years ago from the complications of diabetes, and she's been an advocate and awareness-raiser in recent years. In fact, she was at the ADA conference in DC last June, and as part of the Call to Congress. She was looking for information on IDF's Blue Circle pin and somehow Google led her here, where she used my profile to email me.
All the while, having no idea that I'm the Kassie with whom she shares an aunt! Small d-world, eh?
Fellow neice of Aunt Mary Lou, if you're back for some more reading, how funny is it that *this* is how we connected??
